St Cyprian’s Anglican Church, Highlands is a small country church, that has been at the heart of this community for over 125 years. We worship here once a month, on the second Sunday of each month, and you are most welcome to join us for the Eucharist service starting at 10am.
Once a year, on the second Sunday in September, we also host the Country Fair to celebrate our patronal festival. We raise funds towards the Holy Cross School on the Highlands Road, and towards upkeep of our own facilities.
In 2018 we donated R30,000 towards the furnishing of the new Grade 4 classroom at Holy Cross School, and upgraded our own Vestry and ablutions. See some photos! In 2019 we raised a further R35,000 which will go towards the new Grade 5 classroom. The donation was handed to Holy Cross at a special celebration dedicating the classroom block.
You can enjoy the wonderful newly-landscaped Rose Garden, which has created a beautiful levelled garden and lawn especially for this annual event. Have a look at some of the photos of the work-in-progress from earlier in 2017, and the wonderful finished garden.
Please browse our website for more information about the Country Fair, and we’ll look forward to seeing you soon, or for the next Country Fair on Sunday 13th September 2020!
